Experience
Heather Black, CPT is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, and a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach. Heather offers remote coaching and in-person training as well as nutrition coaching services and meal plans.
She is also a CrossFit, Spartan Race, triathlon competitor, and mother of four boys.
Heather has helped her clients and athletes achieve massive change through strength training, high-intensity exercise, and balanced eating habits. As a business owner and busy mom, Heather knows how challenging it can be to make health and fitness a priority. She works with her clients to come up with real-world solutions, despite their hectic lifestyles and overloaded schedules. And although her training is intense, her clients identify her caring and enthusiastic personality as one of her strongest qualities.
Heather has been featured in several national and regional publications and podcasts where she contributes her unique perspective on training, diet, and lifestyle change. She has graced the cover of Oblique Magazine and was selected as a STRONG Fitness Magazine “Woman to Watch.” Heather has also created a solid, engaged following of her high-intensity workouts through her Instagram page. Heather has worked with all types of people, ranging from a 12-year-old female soccer team to an elderly man recovering from a heart transplant. Because her training is based on solid science and research, not short-term “fixes” or fads, Heather’s methodology proves to be effective for every walk of life.
Education
Heather received her personal trainer certification through the well-respected National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has also earned the CrossFit Level 2 Trainer designation and is a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach. She studied biology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
