As a fitness editor, testing activewear from top-selling brands is a huge part of my job. But no matter how many brands I try, lululemon consistently remains one of my favorites. I own dozens (really, dozens!) of pieces from the brand and continue to seek out the best finds in lululemon's “We Made Too Much” section. But one of the items I reach for the most is the viral Define Jacket.

With over 95.5 million views on TikTok, it’s safe to say that I’m not the only one who loves this jacket. It’s a functional and super stylish activewear layer that’s perfect for studio-to-street wear. I love this jacket for just about everything—lounging, brunching, walking, and (of course) working out.

The trending Define Jacket comes in five different styles—Define Jacket Luon, Define Jacket Nulu, Cropped Define Jacket Nulu, Hooded Define Jacket Nulu, and Cropped Define Jacket Ribbed Nulu—at prices ranging from $89 to $128. I love the Define Jacket Luon, as do thousands of 5-star reviewers.

This style comes in 13 vibrant colors, including a bright Sunny Coral, a deep Maldives Green, and a rich Pomegranate. But if you’re a neutral gal like I am, don’t worry. The brand also offers more muted shades, like Heathered Black, Blissful Blue, and White Opal (my favorite!).

Available in US women’s sizes 0 to 20, lululemon’s Define Jacket offers an inclusive size range that typically runs true to size. Just note that it’s form-fitting, so if you prefer a roomier fit, I’d recommend sizing up. I personally love the sleek, streamlined silhouette because it provides coverage and support with a flattering feel.

It’s designed for movement and made from lululemon's signature Luon Fabric, which is the perfect combination of nylon, Lycra, and elastane. This blend feels soft and comfortable enough to lounge around in, while also providing the breathability, sweat-wicking, and support I need for working out.

I have worn this jacket on its own on crisp autumn mornings, or under a puffer jacket when braving cold winter conditions. It features thumbholes for added warmth, as well as a back vent that provides airflow to prevent overheating. The jacket also has two front zippered pockets to store small items while you’re on-the-go.

Besides exceptional quality, technical performance, and a stylish design, what makes this high-priced item worth it for me is its amazing versatility. I wear this jacket for just about anything—lounging around the house, running errands, meeting friends for coffee, walking to my favorite yoga class, smashing out a high intensity workout, and more. I’ve even taken it on ski trips to wear as an extra layer under my ski jacket to keep me warm as I zip down cold, snowy mountains.

I’ve had my Define Jacket for years, and it’s truly held up. It’s expensive, but you truly can’t beat the overall value. If you’re looking for a flattering, functional, and versatile jacket for working out and daily wear, add this one to your cart now before your size sells out!
