Experience

Mia is a national on-air nutrition expert, host of Good Food Friday on ABC News 4 and founder of Nutrition By Mia. 

She regularly contributes to numerous major online and print publications including Women’s Health Magazine, Cosmopolitan and SHAPE, and weekly to national and local TV news and lifestyle programs across the country. As one of the most trusted and recognized young dietitians in the country, Mia has helped thousands of clients and readers lose weight, improve their health, and develop sustainable eating habits for life. 

She is currently writing her first book with Victory Belt Publishing available in December 2023.  

Education

Mia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science Physiology and Metabolism from the University of California, Berkeley and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed over 1,200 of supervised practice in clinical nutrition at the Medical University of South Carolina before earning her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
