Experience
Natasha has written for a wide range of publications including Healthline, Fitness magazine, and Oxygen magazine. She is passionate about her health and wellness career and works with clients daily to help them reach their fitness goals. She enjoys teaching others how to achieve their wellness goals and using her expertise to inform the public on various health and fitness-related topics.
Natasha started her career as an occupational therapist, where she helped adults and seniors regain their independence through therapy. She worked in both long-term care facilities and patient homes for more than a decade. In 2014, Natasha founded Fit Mama Santa Barbara and focused her energy on prenatal and postpartum fitness. She works with clients both locally and globally through her online platform.
Education
Natasha graduated from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, with a degree in kinesiology. After graduating, she pursued a career in occupational therapy and obtained her master of science in occupational therapy. She has completed many continuing education courses in kinesio taping, geriatric rehabilitation, durable medical equipment, post-injury rehabilitation, Autism and Asperger’s, nutrition, sports psychology, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is also a Level 1 Crossfit Coach.
