Experience
Amy Walsh, M.D., M.D.P., is an Emergency Physician practicing in western Wisconsin. She has over 15 years of experience in the field. Her practice involves caring for all sorts of patient emergencies, including heart attacks, severe infections, car accidents, and lacerations.
She has worked in Tanzania, Uganda, Haiti, Israel, Bolivia, and Nicaragua as part of her Global Health education and practice.
Her other areas of interest in the health space include wild edible foods, natural movement, postpartum fitness and wellbeing, and the intersection of physical and emotional wellbeing.
Education
Dr. Walsh attended the University of Missouri for her undergraduate degree and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and residency training at the University of Iowa. She further specialized in Global Emergency Medicine through fellowship training at Health Partners in St. Paul, MN, which included obtaining a Master's Degree in Development Practice at the University of Minnesota.
