Experience
Autumn has a diverse array of experiences in the food and wellness world. She spent three years working in food justice and sustainability for the Food Recovery Network and Bon Appetit Management Company before shifting to nutrition and yoga.
Autumn started her own nutrition and yoga private practice, where she explored a diverse array of opportunities—from hosting nutrition workshops for students and employees to working with clients one-on-one on nutrition behavior change to teaching private and group yoga classes.
Over the past few years, she's honed in on writing, dipping her toes in academic writing and editing, creating original content and editing for newsletters, blog posts, and websites, and authoring her own wellness and self-love-focused newsletter throughout the pandemic. She is the co-founder of mendinground nutrition and yoga, a private practice focused on helping people reconnect with their internal cues and heal their relationships with food and their bodies.
She currently serves as the senior commerce editor for nutrition and supplement content for Dotdash Meredith's health group, managing a team of editors and freelance writers to provide readers with up-to-date, research-backed, wellbeing-focused guidance on nutrition and supplements.
