Verywell Fit / Reese Herrington

From leggings that fit like a second skin to supportive sports bras that move with you, lululemon’s activewear is built to support you through even the toughest workouts. And right now, you can score big on dozens of finds if you know where to look. Elevate your fitness wardrobe with trendy, top-selling pieces—like the Align Leggings, Define Jacket, and more—starting at just $9.

As a fitness editor and yoga teacher, my life revolves around wearing and reviewing activewear—and lululemon is one of my favorite brands. While I think lululemon pieces are worth investing in, I always love a great discount, which is why their "We Made Too Much" has become my best-kept secret. Every Thursday, the brand refreshes this section with new deals on some of their most popular pieces.

To make shopping easier, I scour this section weekly to find the best lululemon steals on leggings, sports bras, sneakers, and more—up to $74 off. Here's what's available right now:

Align High-Rise Pant with Pockets

Align Hi-Rise Pant 25"

LULULEMON

We Made Too Much price: $69-$109 (was $128-$138)

Made from lululemon’s signature Nulu fabric, the fan-favorite Align Tights are soft and lightweight. When we tested lululemon leggings, this pair was easily one of our favorites. They have a secure, high-rise waistband and four-way stretch, so you can focus on your workout without worrying that they’ll sag or roll down, whether you're rowing or stability training on balance boards.

While they don’t have a drawstring, like the Wunder Train High-Rise Tight does, the Align leggings have three deep pockets that can hold your keys, wallet, or phone. However, they only offer light compression. For a more supportive fit, we recommend the Fast and Free High-Rise Tight, which is also available right now for under $100.

Define Jacket Cropped Nulu

Define Jacket Cropped Nulu

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $69-$79 (was $118)

If you're on social media, you've probably seen this viral activewear jacket praised for its flattering fit and stretchy support—but is it worth it? After wear-testing it in one color, and later purchasing it in two more, we can confidently say it is. And if you act fast, you can get it for up to $59 off right now.

Crafted from a buttery-soft, moisture-wicking blend of nylon, polyester, and Lycra, the jacket moves with you without restricting your range of motion. It's also the perfect layering piece; we wear it as a top layer in chilly weather and as a base layer when temperatures drop. Plus, this cropped version comes in tons of neutral and fun colors so you can find the right fit for your personal style.

Groove Super-High-Rise Flared Pant Nulu

Lululemon Groove Super High Rise Flared Pant

Lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $49-$79 (was $118)

The Groove Super-High-Rise Flared Pant is lululemon’s answer to the flared yoga pant trend. These bottoms are soft and stylish, with a barely-there feel that’s a trademark of the brand’s Nulu fabric. A wide waistband offers gentle support—plus, it has a pocket that’s large enough to hold your phone.

Ideal for lounging around or low-impact workouts like yoga, these comfortable pants are also sweat-wicking and made with four-way stretch. And while they’re usually $118, you can pick up a pair for as low as $49 while they’re still on sale.

If you love the silhouette of this pair but not the full length, try the Groove Super-High-Rise Crop 23”.

Wunder Puff Cropped Vest

lululemon Wunder Puff Cropped Vest
lululemon.

We Made Too Much price: $129-$179 (was $228)

The Wunder Puff Cropped Vest is sleek, stylish, and starts at $129 right now. An oversized layer that pairs well with most lululemon leggings, it's made from water-repellent, windproof fabric. It's a reliable layer for walking the dog, heading to the gym, or meeting friends for coffee after a workout.

Protective and highly functional, this vest has tons of pockets, including two zippered hand pockets, a hidden phone sleeve, and extra slots inside for smaller necessities. We also like that the hood is removable—plus, you can cinch the hem when you want to switch up the shape. Choose your favorite color from options like Meadowsweet Pink and Heathered Wild Indigo, while they're still in stock.

Align T-Shirt

lululemon Alig T-Shirt

Lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $29 (was $69-$78)

One of the best deals in the We Made Too Much section is on lululemon’s Align T-Shirt, which usually costs almost $80. This top pairs perfectly with the Align High-Rise Pant with Pockets since both are made from the same silky Nulu fabric.

A scoop neckline and cap sleeves give this t-shirt a sleek silhouette. The stretchy, slim fit moves with you, while the cropped hem hits right above your waist. Sweat-wicking and breathable, this shirt can hold up in hot yoga classes or outdoor workouts in warm weather.

For more coverage, try the Align Long Sleeve Shirt (for as low as $39) or the Align High-Neck Tank Top (for as low as $34).

Align High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant Short

lululemon Align High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant Short
lululemon.

We Made Too Much price: $69-$99 (was $128)

For everything fans love about the Align Pant in a new, modern silhouette, look no further than the Align High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant Short. Starting at just $69, these pants are ultra-soft and designed to support you through your yoga practice.

While they're beyond comfortable (like our other Align favorites), they don't skimp on exercise-friendly features. These pants are sweat-wicking and breathable, with added four-way stretch that won't dig in or pinch you anywhere. The 31-inch inseam hits right at the ankle for most wearers, while three pockets offer enough space for stashing your phone, hair ties, and other must-haves. Choose from classic True Navy, Black, and Espresso—or branch out into new shades like Dark Forest and Terra Orange.

Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25”

Lululemon Wunder Under High-Rise Tight 25" Full-On Luxtreme

Lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $49-$89 (was $98-$118)

This is one of the most durable pairs of lululemon leggings we've ever tested—unlike other pairs from the brand, these can be tossed in both the washer and the dryer along with workout underwear. They’re also made from Everlux fabric, which is breathable and sweat-wicking, even in warm weather.

The Wunder Train Tights are a solid, reliable option for everyday wear. We love the interior drawstring because it keeps the waistband up during high-impact exercise. And now, these leggings available for under $90.

Down for It All Jacket

lululemon Down for It All Jacket

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $99 (was $228)

When we tested the best running jackets, lululemon’s Down for It All Jacket quickly become one of our top picks. The high collar and removable hood help block out the wind and snow, so you can focus on logging miles.

We love that the fabric is windproof and water-resistant, with four-way stretch that moves with you while you're on the go. Thumb holes keep the sleeves secure and in place, while two zippered pockets and a hidden phone sleeve provide plenty of space for essentials. Well-made and durable, this thick, warm coat is a must-have for hikers, runners, or walkers.

The Down for It All Jacket usually costs around $200. But today, it starts at just $99.

Fast and Free High-Rise Crop 23”

Lululemon fast and free crop

Lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $59-$79 (was $118)

Our top pick for runners, the Fast and Free High-Rise Crop leggings are opaque and lightweight. Nulux fabric offers supportive compression, while an interior drawstring keeps the waistband up for miles. These leggings are sure to become a staple in your weekly rotation.

We love how versatile they are, with a cropped length and sweat-wicking material that's suitable for all seasons and workouts. Plus, they have seven pockets: One on each leg that are deep enough to hold your phone and five in the waistband for your keys, earbuds, and more. But the waistband can feel tight, so for a looser fit, we recommend the InStill High-Rise Tight (which is available for as low as $49).

Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top

lululemon Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top
lululemon.

We Made Too Much price: $29-$39 (was $58-$68)

The We Made Too Much section is a great place to stock up on basics. If you're searching for some sleeveless layers, try the Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top. We love the cropped length and built-in shelf bra (no sports bra needed).

Made from lululemon's lightweight Everlux fabric, this top is sweat-wicking, quick-drying, and highly breathable. We also like that it feels cool and silky on the outside, but softer on the inside. Designed for medium-impact workouts, the Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top is ideal for hot yoga, Pilates, and barre classes. Pair it with the Wunder Train High-Rise Tight for an easy, no-fuss outfit.

Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve Shirt 2.0 Race Length

One of the most popular picks from the brand, lululemon's Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve Shirt just got even better—it's available for as low as $39 right now. We love this top because it can be worn as a base layer in cold weather or a top layer (over your favorite sports bra) in mild conditions.

Made from the brand's seamless, chafe-free, sweat-wicking fabric, it's comfortable and lightweight enough for all types of activities. We also love that it has thumb holes and added mesh for better breathability. Add to cart quickly, before this editor-loved top goes out of stock.

Chic and cozy, this lululemon pullover is designed for hiking but can be worn for lounging, running outside, walking to a workout class, and so much more. The soft fleece is warm and the ripstop overlay is abrasion-resistant, making this top layer protective and durable enough for your next outdoor adventure.

We also love that it has a zippered chest pocket and a large kangaroo pocket (with a hidden phone sleeve) for optimal on-the-go storage. Plus, it comes in three neutral yet fun color ways so you can find the right fit for your own personal style.

Blissfeel Women’s Running Shoe

lululemon Blissfeel Women's Running Shoe

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $59-$69 (was $148)

When she tested the Blissfeel Running Shoe, our expert running coach loved how lightweight and responsive the sneakers were. (The modern, stylish design is also a plus.) Now, you can find lululemon’s latest running shoe at an attractive price (starting at $59).

After running in them for 35 miles, we found that these shoes have plush, cushioned midsoles and a flexible upper with a close fit. For a shoe that can also perform in the gym, we recommend the Chargefeel Low Workout Shoe. And for non-runners, the Strongfeel Training Shoe has all the support you need, whether you're crushing cardio and HIIT workouts or taking walking breaks on a treadmill desk in the office.

Swiftly Tech Racerback Tank Top 2.0 Race Length

Swiftly Tech Tech Racerback Tank Top 2.0 Race Length

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $39 (was $58)

A seamless, sweat-wicking layer in lululemon's ultra-popular Swiftly Tech style, this racerback tank top is a must-have for runners and weightlifters. With a hem that just skims your waistband and won't ride up, it's designed to help you perform at your best (instead of worrying about your outfit).

Lightweight and anti-odor, this top also has strategic mesh for better breathability. It's stretchy, but won't lose its shape over time—plus, we love that it's made with recycled polyester. Pair it with the Wunder Train High-Rise Short 6" (starting at $39!) for a sleek training outfit that can handle whatever's on your schedule for the day.

Bowline Short 8" Stretch Ripstop

lululemon Bowline Short 8" Stretch Ripstop

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $39-$49 (was $78)

We like lululemon's Bowline Shorts because they're water-repellent, abrasion-resistant, and adjustable. The streamlined silhouette is slim, but still has plenty of give. And the drawstring can be worn inside or out, to customize the shorts' style and fit.

Roomy side pockets and a zippered back pocket, plus hidden pockets throughout, offer plenty of storage. They're also made with 100% recycled polyester, which is easy to care for—just toss them in the washing machine.

Pace Rival Mid-Rise Skirt Long

lululemon Pace Rival Mid-Rise Skirt Long

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $39-$69 (was $78)

lululemon's Pace Rival Mid-Rise Skirt is an essential for court sports, like tennis or pickleball. Made using lululemon's lightweight, quick-drying Swift fabric, it has four-way stretch, so you'll stay comfortable all day long.

We love the shorts lining, which is made from the brand's cooling Luxtreme material. The shorts also have two side pockets—a major hands-free bonus—plus a back pocket with a zipper for stashing your phone or keys. An internal drawstring makes it easy to get the right fit, if you're between sizes.

Choose from a range of bright solids and fun patterns—or try the Multi-Pocket Cargo High-Rise Hiking Skirt, which is abrasion-resistant and packed with hiking-friendly pockets and loops.

License to Train Hoodie

French Terry Oversized Zip

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $79 (was $118)

Cozy and comfortable, the License to Train Hoodie is a must-have for outdoor runs or lounging in chilly temperatures. Designed with soft, breathable polyester, this sweatshirt has a large fit with more than enough room for bundling up underneath.

We like the hood for added warmth and a stylish flare. There's also a loop for hanging this layer in your closet or locker and underarm gussets for better mobility.

Sleek, stylish, and available in both neutral and bright hues, this sweatshirt is the epitome of a luxe basic. We recommend layering it over the Drysense Short Sleeve Shirt or the Fundamental Pocket T-Shirt for the ultimate cool, casual look.

Take Form Yoga Mat 5mm

lululemon Take Form Yoga Mat 5mm

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $79 (was $138)

Level up your daily practice with the Take Form Yoga Mat. A sustainably sourced rubber base provides more cushioning than other traditional mats offer, which makes yoga and Pilates classes easier on your body. And a grippy top layer absorbs sweat and prevents slipping without feeling sticky.

We like that this mat has a textured, patterned surface, so you can get a good grip to hold more difficult poses. The mat's rings also help you position yourself without looking down or breaking your flow. And if you work up a sweat, simply wipe the mat clean, and it’s ready for next time.

For extra room to breathe, we like The (Big) Mat, which is longer and wider. And to complete your setup, reach for lululemon’s Yoga Mat Towel with Grip.

Silicone Hair Ties (3-pack)

Silicone Hair Ties

lululemon

We Made Too Much price: $9 (was $18)

Choosing the right hair ties for working out can help you stay comfy and distraction-free. We love lululemon's silicone hair ties because they're sweat-wicking, stretchy, and non-slip. Plus, this three-pack comes with neon bright colors for better visibility in low-lit conditions.

If you need hair ties, now's the time to buy while this durable, stylish set is only $9.

What You Should Know About lululemon “Sales”

lululemon doesn’t label their discounts as “sales.” However, they often mark down popular clothing and accessories in their "We Made Too Much" and "Like New" sections online.

Here, you’ll find deals on viral, fan-favorite lululemon products. The Align collection (including leggings, tops, shorts, and more), loungewear, and accessories are often available with limited stock—although they may only be available in less-popular colors and sizes. Even more products will typically see price drops during big sales events, including best-selling styles that are usually only offered at full price.

The “We Made Too Much” section of lululemon’s website is restocked every Thursday morning around 11 a.m. ET with brand new deals. We’ll keep this page updated, so check back every week for the latest sales on your favorite lululemon essentials.

What is the Best-Selling Item at lululemon?

The best-selling item at lululemon is leggings—specifically, the Align Pant. These soft, stretchy leggings routinely sell out and have over 6,000 five-star reviews on lululemon’s website. “There are not enough words to describe how amazing the Align pants are,” one wearer wrote. “They are true to size and comfortable to wear.” Someone else added, “my first ever pair of leggings from lululemon were Aligns. So good I had to get another.” Now, the line has expanded to include:

Should I Size Up or Down in lululemon?

Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. For most clothing styles, if you’d like a more compressive fit, size down. For less compression, size up. If you’re not sure where to start, lululemon has a detailed size chart on their website with categories for every style of clothing they make. (You’ll need to know your measurements—or have a tape measure handy.) You can also get tops and bottoms hemmed for free at any lululemon store, in case the length or inseam isn’t right.

What to Look For in lululemon Products

Material

lululemon clothes are made from a range of signature fabrics. Most are a blend of nylon and Lycra elastane, which is comfortable, lightweight, and retains its shape over time. In general, here’s what to know:

  • Nulu is soft, stretchy, and ultra-breathable, which makes it best for low-impact workouts and casual wear. It can pill when exposed to friction, so it’s not the best choice for running.
  • Everlux is durable and quick-drying. Soft on the outside with a smooth, cool interior, it’s designed for sweaty, high-impact workouts.
  • Luon is lightly brushed for a cozy feel. Made with four-way stretch, it’s best for low-impact exercises.
  • Luxtreme is a silky, compressive fabric that offers extra support. It resists pilling, which makes it ideal for high-impact workouts.
  • Nulux is designed for running. Quick-drying and lightweight, it’s flexible, so you can use your full range of motion confidently.
  • SenseKnit is also meant for running, with additional support in certain areas. It’s also breathable to keep you cool.
  • SmoothCover is soft, matte, and smoothing. Plus, it’s opaque and squat-proof for days when you need more coverage.

Some fabrics are also offered in a Full-On version. This means the fabric has a tighter weave, which makes it more opaque and compressive.

Activity Level

When shopping at lululemon, consider what kind of activities you’ll be doing while wearing your new gear. Some lululemon items are designed to be worn during low-impact exercise, which means they may pill over time if repeatedly exposed to friction. Check the specifics underneath each product on lululemon’s website to make sure it’s the right type of gear for your needs.

Care

lululemon products are built to last. With the right care, they can maintain their size, shape, and elasticity for years. Before making a purchase, be sure to read lululemon’s care instructions, which are different for each item they sell. Some (like the Take Form Yoga Mat) can be wiped down with a cloth. When it comes to leggings, some can go in the dryer—but others can’t. If you’re ever in doubt, the brand has a care guide on its website to help you figure out the best way to clean your gear.
