Stephanie has written and edited articles for Mashable, Everyday Health, Weather.com, HuffPost, and CBSNewYork.com, among other publications. She was previously editorial director at the environmental organization NRDC, content director at Ziff Davis, and deputy editor at The Weather Channel Digital, where she covered breaking weather news and reported, wrote, and edited features on climate, environment, health, travel, and lifestyle. She has also held editorial positions at CBS, NBC, and BBC America.
Her work at The Weather Channel has received a number of awards, including the 2018 Science in Society Journalism Award for Science Reporting; the 2018 Sigma Delta Chi Award for Specialized Journalism Site; the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Broadcast News Site; the 2016 and 2017 National Headliner Awards; and the 2017 New York Press Club Journalism Award. In 2014, she was awarded The Weather Channel Leadership Award.
